Pagani Zonda

    Pagani "Zonda"

The Pagani Zonda. One of the (if not the most) bad ass Italian super cars EVER. It was unveiled in 1999 and was discontinued just last year. In 2009, only 206 Zondas had built, with many other similar models such as the Zonda C12, Zonda S, Zonda S 7.3, Zonda Roadster, Zonda F, Zonda Roadster F, Zonda Cinque, Zonda Cinque Roadster, and Zonda Tricolore. And that's just one of their models. Anyway, back to the stats: first, it's engine. It has a 7.3 litre V12, and goes 0-60 in 4.2 seconds. Now when you look at these pictures, you may notice something: they aren't pictures of the same model. Well, that's true. The top picture is actually a Zonda R Evo, whereas the lower one is just a plain Zonda. Anyway, the Zonda isn't alone. It has a friend: the Huayra...

                                                     THE "Huayra"

The Pagani Huayra looks very similar to the Zonda, and is the predecessor to the Zonda. It is named after "Huayra-tata" a South American wind god. It costs around $1,000,000 and has a 6.0 litre twin-turbocharged Mercedes AMG engine, capable of a top speed of 230 miles per hour. It also has 23.3 mpg (combined) which is pretty good for a V12. It has a 0.60 time of just 3.5 seconds, and cranks out around 700 horsepower. (though is a version available with 730 hp.)
Here's the interior:
